The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has recently allotted a site of about 2000 sq.yards for the construction of  a Sri Lord Venkateshwara Swamy Temple at Sector 12A, Panchakula adjoining Chandigarh.For the purpose of construction and management of temple and Dharmasala, a trust has been created under the name "Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Trust, Panchakula" . The Trust has taken up amitious program of constructing the temple of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy (Balaji) and a Dharmasala at an estimated cost of Rs 35-40 Lacs. Apart from the construction and management of the Temple and Dharam Shala, the objectives of the trust include giving financial assistance to poor students,free medical assistance to needy people,promotion of social,cultural and philanthropic activities and propagation of spritual teachings of religious leaders.

The Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Trust appeals to all devotees,philanthropists and industiralists to generously contribute towards the construction of the Temple and Dharam Shala. The Trust is approaching the Commissioner, Income Tax, Haryana to exempt all donations / contributions from the income tax.

In pursuance of its objectives the Trust has also resolved to enlist such of those persons as Patrons who contribute a sum of Rs 50,000 or more. Their names will be engraved on the bronze plate at the temple and they shall be entitled to perform a free "Archana" and use the premises of Dharam Shala, on any day, once in a year. The names of all those devotees who contribute Rs 5,000 or more will be inscribed on the marble plate  at the temple.

All donations and contributions may be sent by cheque/D.D. Drawn in favor of  "Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Trust,Panchakula"  addressed to the Secretary, SVST Trust, C/O Andhra Samskrutika Sangham, Room No. 16/17, Second Floor, Karuna Sadan Building, Sector 11, Chandigarh-160011

In addition, a Swamy's "HUNDI" has been installed at the Karuna Sadan Building Sector 11,Chandigarh for the benefit of those devotees who can't pay through cheque/DD to pay their donations /contirbutions in cash to the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple.
